The week ahead
D4t4 Solutions PLC (LON:D4T4), the data analytics software provider, is scheduled to release its half-year trading, ahead of interims in late November. In its brief AGM trading update in August, it said that trading was in line with expectations with strong levels of both existing and new client activity. We will be looking at how the group is making the transition to a recurring revenue model, along with the impact of its entry into direct sales, the level of customer interest in version 9.2 of its customer data platform and its plans for its growing cash pile.
Softcat PLC (LON: SCT), which provides information technology (IT) infrastructure products and services, reports its final results tomorrow. In its year-end trading update in August, it said it had delivered operating profit for the full year slightly ahead of the board's expectations. It said cash generation had remained strong and the company was planning to resume its normal dividend policy and timetable, dependent upon trading in the period up to the final results. This will include payment of the interim dividend previously cancelled in March.
Across the pond, technology-related businesses expected to release their earnings this week include IBM, Texas Instruments, Teradyne, Lam Research, Xilinx, Intel, Check Point Software, Citrix Systems, Verisign and Seagate Technology. Also, McAfee, the security software provider, is expected to price its IPO this week.
